Police are looking for a man they said uttered an “anti-gay slur” to a 24-year-old man outside 85 Broad St., then punched the victim in the face, back and head before fleeing. The attack, on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:35 p.m., left the victim with a cut lip and bloody nose. An NYPD-supplied video appears to show a woman attempting to hold back the attacker.  The suspect, described as about 5 feet 10 inches and 200 pounds, was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
