Poet Lacresha Berry and Kamau Ware from Black Gotham Experience
Celebrate Black History Month with "Sugar Water, Fire [1]," a performance piece featuring poet Lacresha Berry. Afterwards, Berry will be joined by Kamau Ware from Black Gotham Experience to discuss her work which responds to the stories told in BGX’s popular walking tours highlighting the impact of the African diaspora on Lower Manhattan since 1625.
