Chinese Ink Painting Workshop

In collaboration with Soho Photo Gallery, RE:ARTISTE hosts Chinese Art Night with artist Dongze Huo who will give an art workshop on Chinese Ink Painting, in collaboration with Chinese artist, Miao Zhao.

The artists will show the basics of this Chinese art practice of brush painting – the technique that continues to fascinate contemporary artists. Simple beauty, harmony, serenity and tranquility may be discovered in a symbol, a bird, or a landscape. The participants will be able to draw and take home their own artwork in Chinese Ink created with this technique.

Artist talk and a conversation over beverages are part of the event.

Fee: $20. All art supplies are provided.
