A 30-year-old man from upstate New York hit another car while leaving his parking spot. The driver of the other car, claiming to be a police detective, demanded his license and registration. The “detective” then told him to get out of the car, grabbed him by the neck, confiscated the man’s cell phone and bank card, and drove off.

A resident found that a platinum and diamond Tiffany necklace was missing from her desk drawer. There were no signs of tampering or forced entry.

4/4...4:45 p.m.

Six to eight men entered the Guess Jeans store and began picking up merchandise. One pointed a knife at an employee and grabbed her by the hair, warning her to “stay the fuck away.” The men left with 11 pairs of jeans, seven t-shirts, and one jacket worth a total of $1,238.

Police arrested a 27-year-old man after he hit another patron in the head with a glass beer mug at the Patriot Saloon.

4/7...Bet. 9 p.m. 4/6 and 9 a.m.

Intruders broke the front window of the Delizia Uno restaurant overnight and forced open two registers, making off with $6,515 in cash.

A resident returned from an overseas trip to find three pieces of jewelry, valued at $21,500, missing from her apartment. Construction workers had been in the apartment several times during her absence.

Bowling Green & Broadway
4/8...2:25 p.m.

A 16-year-old from the Bronx was waiting to cross the street when a man grabbed him by his arm and warned that he had a gun. The man took him to Chipotle restaurant and demanded his wallet, but the boy only had $5. The man then took him to a nearby Duane Reade, where he made the boy withdraw $20 in cash. Police arrested the man at the South Ferry terminal, confiscating $21 in cash, marijuana and a knife.

4/10...1:30 p.m.

A man agreed to buy a 14-karat white gold and diamond bracelet from a jewelry store. While the saleswoman was preparing his receipt, he asked to see the bracelet again. He then left, saying he had to visit an ATM. When the saleswoman checked the box, she found the bracelet, worth $2,900, missing.

South and Wall
4/10...bet. 7:30 and 8:15 p.m.

A gray 2006 Honda motorcycle was stolen from its parking spot.

4/17...7 p.m.

A Brooklyn woman at the Tribeca Tavern found her Guess bag had been stolen from her chair. The bag and its contents were valued at $536.

381 Broadway
4/23...1 p.m.

A Manhattan woman had her purse stolen from her table at Cafe Wow. The bag contained $50 in cash and credit cards.

20 River Terrace
4/24...8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

A resident returned home to find the door to his apartment ajar, with no signs of forced entry. Missing were two laptops, four watches, a Playstation 3 gaming console, clothing and credit cards all valued at $6,800.

4/26...2 a.m.

Police arrested a man for breaking the front window of Panini & Co. to get to the cash register. The man admitted to doing the same thing to the same store four times in the past month.

407 Broadway
4/26...1:15 p.m.

A man entered a Chase Bank and passed the teller a note that read: “This is a robbery. Give me $10,000.” The teller refused to comply, so the man left the bank.
