Voices of Poetry In honor of National Poetry Month, Poets House, 10 River Terrace, will present an afternoon of poetry on April 6, 2-3:30pm. The event features poets Antoinette Brim-Bell, Poet Laureate of Connecticut; Chard DeNiord, Poet Laureate of Vermont; Cornelius Eady, co-founder of Cave Canem; and Molly Peacock, former President of the Poetry Society of America. A donation of $15 is suggested.
“The New Antique Sale” will take place April 5-7 at Tribeca Gallery at Hal Bromm, 90 W Broadway. The curators are asking everyone to scour their homes and submit artwork, collectibles and objects disguised as 'antiques.' The sale will start Thursday April 4. Art from MoroccoSapar Contemporary, 9 North Moore St., presents work by Mahi Binebine, a Moroccan artist who lived in New York City in the 1990s before returning to Morocco.
