The Planning and Community Infrastructure Committee meets 5/1 to consider a resolution on the Borough President’s development principles.
The Battery Park City Committee meets 5/6 at 1 World Financial Center, 24th Floor to consider a liquor license application for 30 West St.
The Financial District Committee meets 5/7 to consider vessel liquor licenses for SeaStreak LLC at Gouverneur Lane and South St. Pier 11, and to consider a sidewalk cafe application for 77 Pearl St.
The Landmarks Committee meets 5/8 to consider applications for a rooftop addition for 172 Duane St, a storefront renovation for 220 Broadway, and interior and exterior alterations for 25 Broadway.
The WTC Redevelopment Committee meets 5/12 at 250 Broadway, 19th Floor to hear updates from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and Silverstein Properties.
The Seaport/Civic Center Committee meets 5/13 to consider a liquor license application for Pier 17, sidewalk cafe applications for 243 Water St. and 146 Beekman St., and a liquor license renewal for 89 South Street Seaport Pier 17.
The East Side Community Center Task Force meets 5/13 at 7 p.m. with an agenda to be determined.
The Tribeca Committee meets 5/14 to consider liquor license applications for 130 Duane St., 6 York St., 140 Church St., 2 Desbrosses St., 22 Warren St. and 94 Chambers St.; to consider sidewalk cafe applications for 363 Greenwich St., 179 West Broadway, 107 West Broadway; and to consider liquor license renewals or transfers for 190-A Duane St., 116-120 West Broadway, 363 Greenwich St. and 62 Laight St.
The Quality of Life Committee meets 5/15 to hear an update from the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center, discussions on film shoots, service animal access to public places and curb cut legislation and to hear a report on the Senior Citizen’s Advisory Task Force by Ruth Ohman.
The Arts & Entertainment Task Force meets 5/19 to hear a presentation on a temporary sculpture planned for Thomas Paine Park.
The Waterfront Committee meets 5/19 to vote on a proposed amendment to Waterfront Zoning and a proposal for a beach under the Brooklyn Bridge and to hear updates on Governors Island and the River Project.
The Youth & Education Committee meets 5/20 to hear a presentation on planned Battery Park City Library programs for youth, to hear reports on school overcrowding and a meeting with the principal of Murray Bergtraum High School, and to discuss the community role in zoning for new schools.
