Aug. 29, 2021 Police evacuated the Woolworth Building Saturday afternoon and scoured the 60-story landmark at 233 Broadway with explosive-sniffing dogs following a bomb threat phoned to 311 and 911 around 2:40 p.m., authorities said. No device was found.
During the two-hour search, cops closed Broadway to traffic, between Chambers and Barclay Streets, and Park Place, from Church to Broadway.
