Walk to Raise Money for Suicide Prevention

Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States, and the second leading cause of death for people aged 15-24.

Students, faculty, alumni and community members are invited to join Pace University's "Out of the Darkness Campus Walk" hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention New York City Chapter.

The Pace University Out of the Darkness Campus Walk is one of more than 125 walks being held nationwide. The fundraiser supports the Foundation’s education and advocacy programs and its goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20 percent by 2025.

The walk takes place April 28, 9 a.m. at Pace University, One Pace Plaza.
