Valet Service for Citi Bikes at Chambers & West

After last year's successful pilot launch of a Citi Bike valet service at Chambers and West streets, the popular bicycle docking point has been given the permanent VIP treatment.

Beginning this month, attendants will be on hand to help cyclists find bikes, and locate open parking spaces after they’re done with their ride. The free service, which operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, runs from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The station is one of the busiest in the city. During last year's launch of the valet program, between Aug. 21 and Nov. 5, Citi Bike says 30,207 trips started at the site and 33,510 ended there. On a daily average, 261 riders took advantage of the service.

Additional Downtown locations with valet service are: 6th Avenue and Canal Street (8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.); Broadway and Battery Place (7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.); and Lafayette Street and Jersey Place (8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
