Three Arrested in Assault on Teen

Cops arrested two women and a man accused of repeatedly punching a Bronx teen in the head before taking the victim’s iPhone at the corner of Battery Place and Greenwich Street on July 17, around 11 p.m.

During a search following the incident, police arrested Tatiana Smith, 25, Kayla Watler, 20 and Lewis Yasharwan, 20. All three were charged with robbery in the second degree.

The 15-year-old victim suffered a cut to her lip and bruising and swelling to the side of her head, police said. Officers were able to recover the victim’s phone from inside Yasharwan's underwear.
