Pumpkin Picking at Governors Island

Pumpkin Point, the free annual pumpkin patch and fall festival returns to Governors Island with two October weekends, filled with free family programming.

One thousand pumpkins of all shapes and sizes in Nolan Park will await picking (free with a suggested donation) and among the actives, taking place Oct. 22 and 23, and Oct. 29 and 30, are pumpkin painting and arts and crafts. There also will be a rotating schedule of special events and performances, with a full schedule of each weekend’s events found here.
