A New Book Club in FiDi
Chat, mingle and drink a complimentary glass of Prosecco at the new FiDi Book Club. The first gathering takes place Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at 89 South St., R17.
The cost is $25. Due to limited space all attendees must pre-register for the event.
The club is a quarterly gathering of book fans that will include author meet and greets, with moderated book discussions. Those who haven't finished the book prior to the gathering are still welcome to attend. "This is a no pressure book club," the organizers say.
"The Dutch House" by Ann Patchett is this month's selection. There will also be a book swap.
The first 20 ticket purchasers will receive a FiDi Book Club canvas tote bag with "special goodies."
