Many WTC Retailers, Eateries Announced

Westfield Corp., the international shopping center giant, this week announced many of the stores and eateries that will be opening at the World Trade Center next fall.

A total of 150 shopping and dining spaces will be located in the new PATH station and Towers 3 and 4––amounting to 350,000 square feet of space.

Eataly, an outpost of Mario Bataly’s food-and-wine marketplace in the Flatiron District, will be what Westfield calls “the culinary anchor” of the World Trade Center. It will be housed on the second and third floors of Tower 4, Malcolm Williams, a construction manager for  Silverstein Properties, told a Community Board 1 committee this week.

Westfield, which purchased the leasing rights to the retail spaces from the Port Authority for $1.9 billion, will continue to announce the roster of future tenants "in the coming months." Here is the lineup, so far:
