FOR KIDS: Matzapalooza! Reimagining Passover
Arts and crafts are among the activities at the Passover celebration for families on April 2 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
The third annual "Matzapalooza! Reimagining Passover" celebration for families with children ages 12 and under will feature: artisan purveyors of Passover foods; arts-and-crafts activities, including a make-your-own Haggadah and Elijah and Miriam cups; an afikomen (hidden matza) search party; and a photo booth in which participants can dress up and pose as Passover plagues. There will also be a sing-along concert of Passover songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, and English.
WHEN: Sunday, April 2, 10 am - 1 pm
WHERE: Museum of Jewish Heritage, 36 Battery Place
The event is presented in association with the Workmen's Circle and the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.
Tickets: $10 each; free admission to children and grandchildren of members of the museum, Workmen's Circle and the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.
