KIDS: Learn Calligraphy at China Institute

Fun Saturday Workshops: Chinese Calligraphy and Films

Chinese calligraphy is a beautiful form integrating both art and language. Explore your children’s artistic self through the form of calligraphy that has been practiced over centuries in China. Create elegant Chinese characters using brushes on paper and display them in your home! The workshop will be taught by experienced calligraphy teachers. After the calligraphy class, join us for our Chinese children film series to be further immersed in Chinese culture. Kids will get to enjoy well acclaimed Chinese classic children’s films such as “Baby Tadpoles Look for Their Mother” (小蝌蚪找妈妈).

Saturdays, October 17 ~ December 12, 10 am – 12 pm No class on November 28

For individual sign up, $50 per session or $350 for the entire 8 session series 40% off for current students enrolled in a group class with China Institute or the private tutoring program. Space is limited. Info here.
