Kids can add some fun wordsmithing to their spring break with a free haiku workshop, beginning at 11:30 a.m., at Poets House. The event is led by Amy Losak and based on the award-winning book, “H is for Haiku” by her mother, Sydell Rosenberg. No reservations are required and all elementary-age children are welcome. Thousands of poems will also be distributed on Poem in Your Pocket Day and throughout the year. There will also be interactive performances during the day.
