Hal Bromm Gallery: 40th Anniversary Exhibit

"40: The Anniversary Exhibition" celebrates the Hal Bromm Gallery’s four decade in Tribeca with work by over 130 artists, many of whom have had long-standing relationships with the gallery throughout its history.

Founded in 1975, Hal Bromm was Tribeca’s first contemporary gallery presenting new works by leading minimal and conceptual artists, among them Andre Cadere, Jene Highstein, Rosemarie Castoro, Lucio Pozzi, and Paolo Icaro.  During the 1980’s Bromm’s East Village outpost focused on new talents including Keith Haring, Mike Bidlo, Judy Glantzman, David Wojnarowicz and Luis Frangella, all of whom are represented in 40.

The international survey includes artists from Germany, Spain, Italy, France, England, Holland, and throughout the U.S. and brings together a wide variety of painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography by both established and younger artists.
