“Ghostbusters,” the 1984 comedy classic about three eccentric parapsychologists who begin a ghost-catching business, will be screened on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. at Washington Market Park.

And on Thursdays this month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., there's live music in the park, also sponsored by Friends of Washington Market Park:

Sept. 5: The family-friendly Astrograss, playing their mix of bluegrass, folk and old-time tunes.

Sept. 12: Princess Katie and Racer Steve. The rock band will perform original children’s songs with a three-piece horn section.

Sept. 19: The Little Band That Could entertain with their foot-stomping rock ‘n’ roll tunes.

The park’s entrance is on Greenwich Street, at Duane Street. For more information, visit the park's Web site.
