Free Event Space for NYC Nonprofits

LMHQ, the collaboration space at 150 Broadway for people working in creative fields in Lower Manhattan, is now accepting applications from New York City nonprofits for access to free event space and meeting rooms.

Last year, space was awarded to a dozen nonprofits with a wide variety of missions—from migrant and gender issues to international relations and cancer recovery.

The program, now in its second year, is sponsored by the Downtown Alliance made possible through a $20,000 Bright Ideas grant from Con Edison.

Applicants can apply on a rolling basis for scholarships to be used toward reserving a meeting room, available on two Monday evenings per month, and/or for access to LMHQ's 140-seat event space, available once per month.

LMHQ's 12,500 square feet offers individual and company memberships, drop-in opportunities for visitors, and regular public programming across disciplines.
