Evening of Art and Dance in Support of Gender Violence Survivors

Gibney Dance Company and Sanctuary for Families presents POWER IN MOTION, An Evening of Art and Dance in Support of Gender Violence Survivors and Social Justice, featuring pop-up performances by domestic violence survivors from Sanctuary for Families and members of the Gibney Dance Company. There will be spoken word and dance vignettes that address gender violence and other social justice issues.  

Wine and appetizers will be served.

The event takes place Tuesday, February 26, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Gibney, entrance at 53A Chambers St.

Proceeds from the evening will support Sanctuary for Families and Gibney, both nonprofit organizations.

Sanctuary for Families is dedicated to the safety, healing and self-determination of victims of domestic violence and related forms of gender violence, offering comprehensive services for clients and their children.
