Disgruntled Customer Arrested in Attack on FiDi Hairdresser

Outraged over her new hair look, a customer allegedly threw a metal curling iron stand at her hairdresser, injuring the woman.

The customer, Rachel Meyers, 26, was arrested July 20 after the attack at Look Good Beauty, 24 Beaver St., where she claimed the stylist messed up her hair. The stand hit the victim in the right knee, causing a cut and bruising, police said.

Meyers was charged with assault in the third degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, attempted assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
