City Launches Ferry Between BPC and Midtown

Ferry service between the Battery Park City terminal at Vesey Street and West 39th Street, a 12-minute ride, begins on Monday, Aug. 23. The three-stop route is an expansion of NYC Ferry service, now to include Staten Island’s St. George terminal and the two West Side stops. 

During peak commuting hours, the ferry is scheduled to depart every 25 to 30 minutes. (See and download the entire schedule here.) The fare is $2.70. Tickets can be purchased via a downloadable app here.
