After a Saturday night of binge drinking, a 19-year-old Goldman Sachs intern woke up at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital on Sunday, July 27, with no memory of how she got there, and a Chanel wallet missing from her handbag. One of her Kate Spade shoes was also gone.

The New Jersey woman told police that she left the Financial District apartment where she was staying and went to her friend’s Brooklyn apartment. After having three vodkas, the pair took a cab to the rooftop lounge of the Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking District. The woman told police she had one drink at the bar and took more from “random people.”

Police said the woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The missing wallet contained bank cards, a driver's license and apartment keys. There was one unauthorized credit card purchase, for $54, at a New Jersey gas station but an attempted withdrawal of $300 from the woman’s account failed, police said.
