Annual Open Mic Night for Kids at Duane Park

Friends of Duane Park hosts its second annual Open Mic Night for families at Duane Park on Friday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Three-minute slots are open for all who are interested in singing, playing an instrument or making people laugh. Time slots are limited and participants are encouraged to sign up on a first come first served basis by emailing info@duanepark.org. There will be musical accompaniment by Church Street School musician Wilson Montouri as well as a keyboardist.

Non-musical nourishment will be provided by a Red Hook Lobster Pound truck that's parked nearby.
