Annual Children's Festival at National Museum of American Indian

This year, the annual Children's Festival at the Museum of the American Indian will explore the Taíno culture of the Caribbean. Kids can enjoy numerous hands-on activities including hammock-making with natural fibers, decorating clay pots and crafting a maraca or magnet to take home.

There will also be music and dancing led by Irka Mateo (Taíno) and Bobby Gonzalez (Taíno) will entertain with storytelling.

Entrance to the museum and the festival is free

The event will take place Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museum is at One Bowling Green.
